Beschreibung:

Lost in songs of displacement, nostalgia and loneliness The Diamond Family Archive has the ability to silence rooms with mesmerising intimate performances.
As a multi-instrumentalist Laurence is at home playing masses of lo-fi electronica or simply standing in the middle of the audience with an acoustic guitar and some songs.

“Laurence manages to silence rooms with his mixture of ominous lyrics, creaking slow-motion guitar and a hint of violence.” - New Folk Review

“…this is haunting, intense, spectral folk but with a distinctly British sound… Laurence Collyer's diamond family archive is a unique, revolving ensemble, centering around his ghostly, deeply emotive songwriting. imagine Mark Kozelek's haunting folk with elements of Robert Wyatts heart wrenching vocals combined with Collyer's beautiful songs this is a truly great disc” – Rough Trade

“A true highlight from this years home game!” - Fence records

“Strange and tender songs built around layered loops of live guitar, lap steel and electronica. Leftfield, oddball and gorgeous, a beautiful and fragile noise and sublime lo-fi melancholia”- Stolen Recordings

“Laurence's odd, personal lyrical observations beguile and bewilder. Music rarely comes more atmospheric than this. the diamond family archive; if you have yet to see them, prepare to be stunned”. – The Gilded Palace Of Sin

Trance-like and intimate, folksongs for darker hearts, Laurence Collyer's mesmerising live performances are hard to translate to record (and this is his third album this year) but on Pear Tree they do. Chilling evocative lyrics coupled with a droning countryfied guitar and assorted accompaniment, this is DFA's finest recording yet. Imagine how Bob Dylan and the Band might have sounded if they'd been holed up in a cold drizzling English countryside with only bottles of cough syrup and Lou Reed's Berlin LP on constant rotation. It's that good. – Southcoasting Blog
The way the Archive's instrumentation merges, rises and falls is particularly brilliant in this, for the most part, raw-edged company, their 'Tuesday's Plan' a stunningly romantic epic of high-art musical subtlety. – Tangents

Laurence also plays for a handful of friends musical projects, Blanket (try harder records) and The Great Park (Woodland Recordings). He is also part of Stolen Recordings diverse roster and appears on their acclaimed compilations.

As an eZine publisher, not only can you easily achieve the benefits a longchamp purses conventional newsletter publisher enjoys without having to chop down several trees in the process, you can easily and conveniently spread your marketing influence and expertise to your base of subscribers coach outlet online from the shoes of an ordinary individual. The first step in planning any shoe warehouse party including a New Years Eve party is to consider your guest list. This is important because it will help you to determine where to mbt shooes hold the party. For example if you have a fairly small home and want to host a party for over one hundred on ear headphones people, you will obviously have to consider hosting the party coach bag outlets either in a much larger cheap headphones house or even in a catering hall or restaurant. When you are planning your guest list, you should figure each solely guest will likely bring a date with them. This is only reasonable and it would be considered tacky to tell headphones cheap guests hmv headphones they are not able to bring a date to the party.
