The Jumpin'Quails suddenly self-generated in November 2005 as a chemical reaction between musicians (four), cocktails (a lot more than four) and beat-garage-surf sounds, and currently live in a time bubble beneath the city of Torino.
As representatives of the purest and most analogical rock and roll scene, that fiery and danceable kind that mixes lo-fi and beat, the Jumpin'Quails spread their wings and venture into sixties and surf territory: from the sound vortex of the Sonics to the psyco-noise dabbling of Velvet Underground, The Seeds and Blues Magoos. A word to the wise though: like all really original groups, the Jumpin'Quails remind us of many but are different from all.
After long experience on the Torino underground scene, during which our boys learn to hold their instruments, and excited by a series of European tours, they finally produce their debut album "What's Your Jump Like?", a selection of rough and colourful inedited tracks, that reveal a garage soul that bubbles over onto playful and kaleidoscopic keyboard tapestries. Stiletto riffs, placid surf rides and acrobatic organ twists: all 14 tracks of "What's Your Jump Like?" will make you dance your velvet jackets off and loosen your little ties, as if you were at an underground beach party, surrounded by waves and pretty girls, free from the constraints of our fast and complex civilisation.

I Jumpin'Quails si sono improvvisamente autogenerati nel Novembre 2005 dalla reazione tra musicisti (quattro), cocktails (molti di più) e suoni beat-garage-surf, e risiedono tuttora in una bolla temporale sotto la città di Torino.
Rappresentanti della scena rock and roll più pura e analogica, quella incendiaria e danzereccia che mischia lo-fi e beat, i Jumpin'Quails muovono le proprie ali fino in territori sixties e surf: dal vortice sonoro dei Sonics alle divagazioni psyco-noise di Velvet Underground, The Seeds e Blues Magoos. Attenzione però: come tutti i gruppi realmente originali, i Jumpin'Quails ricordano molti e non assomigliano a nessuno.
Forti di un'intensa gavetta nel sottosuolo torinese, durante la quale hanno imparato a reggere i propri strumenti, e rinvigoriti da una serie di tour europei, i nostri arrivano all'esordio con il primo album "What's Your Jump Like?", un ventaglio di inediti ruvidi e colorati, che affiancano ad un'anima garage che sgorga bollente e sporca giocosi e caleidoscopici tappeti di tastiere. Riff assassini, placide cavalcate surf e funambolici giri d'organo: per tutti i 14 brani di "What's Your Jump Like?" non potrete fare altro che fare ballare le vostre giacchette di velluto e allentare i vostri cravattini, come foste ad una festa su una spiaggia sotterranea, circondati da onde e belle ragazze, liberi dalle pastoie della nostra civiltà frenetica e complessa.
